ONLINE OBSESSION
A cute online friendship becomes a horror story when you meet in person. Follow the messages, make your choices and see where the relationship leads.

ABOUT ONLINE OBSESSION
Online Obsession is a horror visual novel by HoruBrain built around a very ordinary setup: a friendly online friendship that nobody involved thinks is strange. The chat is warm, the sense of connection is genuine, and the game lets you enjoy it for a while.
Then you meet in person, and the genre underneath the friendship reveals itself. The entire story runs on that handover from screen to real life, and how much of the horror you see depends on how the two of you got to that meeting.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The first act plays like a romance visual novel about online intimacy. The shift is not sudden — the horror grows out of details you can look back on, which is why a second playthrough is worth it once you know where to look.
Like the rest of HoruBrain's browser releases it is played by reading and choosing dialogue. There is no real-time action; the entire experience happens in text and choices.

ONLINE OBSESSION FAQ
- Is Online Obsession a horror game?Yes, and it starts as a romance. The first section plays like a warm online friendship story. The horror arrives once the two characters meet, so the early part is best read as setup rather than as the genre the game settles into.
- Can I replay Online Obsession after finishing it?Yes. The game tracks the shape of your conversation, so starting again and replying differently produces a noticeably different second run. The early chat is the part worth changing first.
- Does Online Obsession work on mobile? It is a text-driven visual novel, so it runs in a mobile browser, but a desktop gives you a more comfortable reading column. Either way it loads in the player above without installing anything.
- Is it free to play Online Obsession?Yes. The browser build is hosted for this portal and runs in the frame on this page with no download or registration.
- Is this the official Online Obsession website? No. This is an unofficial portal. Online Obsession and its characters are owned by HoruBrain.
