ACM3 BEGINNER GUIDE

Your first objective is simple: leave Horu's apartment, find the anomalous machine, make one cup, and learn where that cup can go. This route introduces the core loop without revealing transformation results.

Quick answer

Start a New Game → leave the apartment → take the left staircase to the Coffee Machine → open its keyboard → enter a word → collect the cup → check Inventory → return home and open Computer → Shop.

The three screens you need first

Use these in-game views to locate the keyboard, confirm that the cup is stored, and find the Shop. You do not need a transformation or scene route to learn this basic loop.

ACM3 Coffee Machine with the highlighted keyboard panel used to enter a word
1 · Open the keyboard Select the highlighted panel before typing a word.
ACM3 Inventory window showing collected Milk, Hell, Gender and other cups
2 · Check Inventory A finished cup is usable only after you take it from the dispenser and see it here.
Horu's in-game Computer window with Shop, Socials and Gallery icons
3 · Choose the next screen Shop is on Horu's Computer; the Gallery is also reached from this menu.

Your first cup, step by step

  1. Start a New Game. Let the opening finish and check Horu's room before leaving. The starting balance is limited, so use the first few coins to learn the loop.
  2. Leave the apartment. The Coffee Machine is outside Horu's room. Do not spend time searching the bedroom for it.
  3. Use the left staircase. Follow the corridor and take the stairs toward the liminal floor between the 12th and 13th floors.
  4. Open the machine keyboard. Select the keyboard panel in the center of the Coffee Machine. The full word input appears after the panel opens.
  5. Enter a known starter word. Type milk and submit it. Watch the lower dispenser for the finished cup; the cup is not collected automatically.
  6. Collect the cup. Click the dispenser result and confirm the new cup appears in Inventory. A created cup becomes an item; it is not used automatically.
  7. Choose what to do with it. You can keep the cup, use it on Horu, carry it to an available neighbour, or prepare to sell it. Keeping the first cup is the safest way to learn the rest of the interface.
  8. Return home and open the Computer. Use Computer → Shop to reach the selling system. Select a stored drink, choose a listing price, and observe how the shop responds.

Choose one job for the cup

A cup stays in Inventory until you use it. Drinking, giving, selling, or mixing that cup takes it out of the other routes, so brew another copy if you want to compare results.

If your first attempt stops

  • No input box? Select the keyboard panel in the centre of the Coffee Machine.
  • A word is rejected? Try the mapped milk example, then use the word list for other inputs. A result name such as AngelDemon is not necessarily a machine keyword.
  • No cup in Inventory? Go back to the machine and collect the drink from the dispenser before leaving.
  • No sale yet? Check that the cup was collected and not consumed, then use Computer → Shop. A listing may take time to sell.

Version note: Anomalous Coffee Machine 3 is still in development. Available rooms, words, prices, and outcomes can change between builds. This guide describes the public browser demo flow and avoids claiming unverified results.

What to explore next

Once the first loop makes sense, alternate between three goals: test new words, learn which cups you want to keep, and explore where stored cups can be used. The game rewards comparison. If something does not happen immediately, check whether the cup is still in Inventory and whether you are in the correct room.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS — ACM3 BEGINNER GUIDE

01Where is the Coffee Machine in Anomalous Coffee Machine 3?

It is outside Horu's apartment, not inside the bedroom. Leave the apartment, take the staircase on the left side of the corridor, and follow the path toward the liminal floor between the 12th and 13th floors. The keyboard is the highlighted panel in the centre of the machine.

02Why is my Inventory empty after I typed a word?

The cup is not collected automatically. Go back to the machine, click the finished drink in the lower dispenser, and confirm the new cup appears in Inventory. A created cup becomes an item only after you take it; a cup left in the dispenser cannot be used, listed or mixed.

03What should I do with my very first cup?

Keep it unused. That is the safest way to learn the rest of the interface, because a cup stays in Inventory until you use it and drinking, giving, selling or mixing takes it out of every other route. Once you understand the loop, brew a second copy and use it to compare results.

04Which word should I type first?

Type milk. It is a mapped starter input, which makes it easy to compare against the word reference instead of guessing at a random word. Note that a result name such as AngelDemon is not necessarily a machine keyword, so if a word is rejected, fall back to the mapped list.

05How do I sell a cup in ACM3?

Return to the apartment, open the Computer, and go to Shop. Select a stored drink, choose a listing price, and observe how the shop responds. A listing may take time to sell, so confirm the cup was collected and not consumed before assuming the price is the problem.

06Why does my listing not sell?

First check that the cup was actually collected from the dispenser and is still unused. Then confirm you are listing it through Computer → Shop rather than using it. Price affects how long an item stays listed, so compare a modest test against a higher one before assuming a specific price is best.
